Mansouri government focuses on education and health
The new Moroccan government, headed by Fatma Zohra Almostadi, has focused on priorities including employment, education, health, and rural housing for the period 2026-2031. They have developed a program that aims to enable 100,000 young people annually to gain professional experience, and to create 100,000 rural homes supported by financial and technical assistance. Additionally, the government seeks to raise the percentage of students mastering basic skills to 80% by 2031 and to achieve "zero school dropouts" by 2030. The plan also addresses the shortage of health services, aims to modernize the healthcare system, and plans to rehabilitate or build 100,000 homes in rural areas, all in efforts to combat school dropout rates and create employment opportunities for youth.
