Kimiš family mourns loss and absence

Bertold Kimmich, the father of the German national team captain and Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich, has passed away at the age of 57 due to a sudden heart attack. His passing led to his absence from Bayern's match against Arsenal in the Champions League, as he was dealing with family circumstances. Joshua's father played a key role in supporting his sports career from a young age. He is living with his wife and their four children, and the family is currently facing this great loss together. Kimmich was absent from the match, alongside winger Michael Olesen, and there was also uncertainty about whether coach Vincent Kompany would participate after recovering from a viral infection.
