Sisi affirms Saudi-backed military defense

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed that the Egyptian military effort is dedicated to defending the territories of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries, and is not related to any offensive operations against Yemen. The effort is part of supporting Arab national security and regional stability. He indicated that Egypt will take measures to support Saudi Arabia, which will be discussed in the House of Representatives next Monday. Sisi also emphasized that the stability of Arab countries, including Sudan, Libya, and Somalia, is a part of Egypt's national security. He stated that Egyptian foreign policy is based on non-interference in internal affairs, respecting the unity and sovereignty of other nations, and fostering regional cooperation to maintain stability in the region.
