Algerian community in Belgium votes in July elections
The resilient fighter Fatiha Amrous, known as "Jamila," aged 86 and residing in Belgium for over 40 years, participated in the voting process in Belgium during the legislative elections. This reflects her loyalty to the homeland and affirms that serving Algeria is not limited to armed struggle but also includes contributing to the building and development of its institutions. She took part in the revolution as a nurse, conveying messages between freedom fighters, and was subjected to arrest and torture. Despite the passage of time and her exile, she has continued her steadfast march in the path of resistance. She called on the new generations to draw inspiration from the sacrifices of martyrs and fighters to preserve Algeria's unity and advance its progress.
