Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf discussed with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, the escalation by the Israeli occupation in Palestinian territories, especially in the West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem). This includes the storming of the UNRWA-affiliated Qalandia Center, which is a violation of international law. They emphasized the need to respect the legal status of the holy sites in Jerusalem and to mobilize international support to halt these violations and to protect the rights of the Palestinians. They also discussed efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Gulf and the Middle East, as well as diplomatic solutions to achieve stability and security in the region.
