The regional gendarmerie unit in Meniça was able to apprehend two individuals, one being the person in the video and the other the cameraman. This was after the first person poured an acid substance into a water trough designated for camels near a farm. The operation followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the individual claiming that the water was intended for camels inside his farm, which sparked widespread outrage and prompted intensive investigations. Using specific intelligence to determine the geographic location, authorities proceeded to the site and arrested the two suspects, as well as seized the recording device. Investigations are still ongoing, and the detainees will be presented to the relevant judicial authorities.
