Organizations condemn Morocco's repression of Sahrawi defenders
The organization "Codisa," which advocates for human rights in Western Sahara, has been subjected to repeated targeting by Moroccan authorities since May 2026. These measures include travel restrictions, bans on access to homes, monitoring, and intimidation. Such actions have resulted in the siege of members' homes, threatened their safety, and restricted their peaceful activities. International organizations have called for an end to these violations, urging independent investigations into acts of retaliation and abuse, while reaffirming their ongoing solidarity with human rights defenders in the region.
