Shea Langeliers May Miss Season
Shea Langeliers, the Athletics’ All-Star catcher, is likely out for the season due to a torn meniscus sustained while running the bases, potentially requiring surgery. This injury diminishes his prospects of being traded ahead of the August 3 deadline and impacts teams interested in bolstering their catching roster. The team will now rely on veteran Jonah Heim, who may also be involved in trade discussions.
