Gavin Benjamin’s mixed-media exhibition, “In The Air Tonight,” is on display at The Brandt Gallery in Columbus through November. Inspired by New York City’s 1990s club scene, the works combine silhouetted women’s faces, rhinestones, and media clippings. Benjamin turned to mixed media after moving away from photography, seeking a freer way to tell stories within a single frame.
