Royal Foundation and Red Crescent discuss relief cooperation
The enhancement of cooperation between the Royal Institution for Humanitarian Works and the Bahrain Red Crescent Society was discussed, where both parties reviewed previous projects since 2009 and efforts to deliver aid to those affected by conflicts and natural disasters in countries such as Pakistan, Lebanon, Somalia, the Philippines, Turkey, Nepal, and Palestine. They also examined the current humanitarian situation in Arab countries, especially Gaza, Syria, and Sudan, with an emphasis on Bahrain’s continued provision of humanitarian assistance and ongoing support to affected populations, aimed at reinforcing the Kingdom’s reputation as a source of humanitarian initiatives and international solidarity.
