Members of Parliament and the Shura Council praised the success of the 22nd IISS Manama Dialogue on regional security, saying the royal approach and the efforts of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister had strengthened Bahrain’s standing as a platform for dialogue and peacemaking. Held under the theme “Middle East Security: Interests, Alignments and Integration,” the summit brought together ministers, officials and experts from several countries. Participants stressed the importance of international cooperation and integration to safeguard regional security amid tensions and threats to shipping and energy supplies, rather than narrow alignments.
