Wisdom as CIFF Publisher
Under an agreement with the Cairo International Film Festival, House of Wisdom for Culture has been appointed the official publisher of books for the festival’s 47th edition, scheduled to take place from November 11 to 20, 2026, coinciding with the festival’s 50th anniversary. The six publications include books on Asser Yassin, Medhat El-Adl, Saeed Shimi, and Italian director Matteo Garrone, as well as a book on Golden Pyramid-winning films and another on film genres. The group will also take part in the festival’s “From Book to Screen” forum, being held for the first time to connect publishers with film and drama creators and expand opportunities for adaptation.
