The article covered statements by Deputy Mustafa Baki regarding the状 of university professors in Egypt. He confirmed that teaching assistants earn up to 4,500 EGP, while full professors receive around 12,000 EGP. However, the costs of scientific research and student evaluations are deducted significantly from their salaries. He also discussed the insufficient bonuses and compensations, noting that grading exams is rewarded with only 75 piastres. The rising cost of living, such as the increase in bread prices to 3 pounds, threatens to destabilize the situation. He highlighted the government's efforts to improve the conditions of university professors and called for a swift implementation of these reforms, emphasizing that parliament members represent the people's demands amid the government's response to economic and social crises.
