Education Minister signs deal with Spires for student attendance platform
The Egyptian Minister of Education signed a cooperation agreement with the Japanese "Sprekks" Foundation to establish a national data-driven educational platform. The goal is to improve tracking of students' attendance and academic performance through modern digital tools. The platform will be implemented gradually starting with the 2026-2027 school year in several educational administrations, with plans to expand progressively across Egypt. This initiative aims to support decision-making and enhance the quality of education by regularly monitoring data within the framework of the ministry's digital transformation.
