Second edition of We Are Egypt highlights traditions
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has launched the second edition of the "We Are Egypt" campaign, which aims to highlight the authentic values and positive behaviors of the Egyptian people in their interactions with tourists, as well as to enhance Egypt’s image as a global tourist destination. The campaign focuses on showcasing hospitality and a warm reception to encourage tourists to share their experiences, thereby supporting efforts to promote Egypt as a travel destination and attracting more visitors. This edition comes after the success of the first one, which included three phases aimed at raising awareness and boosting tourism. The campaign utilizes media outlets and digital platforms, along with collaborations with influencers and content creators to deliver targeted messages. Additionally, awareness activities continue across the governorates to increase citizens’ knowledge of their heritage and the importance of tourism to the Egyptian economy.
