The General Organization for Veterinary Services will launch a free, week-long campaign tomorrow, Sunday, November 1, to vaccinate stray dogs against rabies across Egypt’s governorates. The campaign aims to help prevent the disease and achieve the goal of a “Rabies-Free Egypt” by 2030. The organization urged residents to cooperate with veterinary teams, avoid unsafe contact with dogs, and report dog-bite incidents. Anyone bitten should seek medical care immediately. The hotline is 19561.
