Drills amid Iran tensions
The Israeli military launched a week-long exercise on Sunday in various parts of Israel, simulating complex, multi-front emergencies and testing the readiness of Home Front Command forces to carry out rescue and relief operations and coordinate with relevant agencies. The drills come amid reports that confrontation with Iran could resume, but the military has not officially linked them to the exercise, saying it was scheduled in advance as part of the 2026 annual training program.
