Telefónica acuerda recorte de empleo en Alemania
Telefónica Deutschland plans to cut up to 1,100 full-time jobs and close approximately 60 stores by the end of 2026 as part of a corporate restructuring. The company aims to streamline operations, reduce redundancies, and enhance AI integration, with the job cuts primarily managed through voluntary agreements. The restructuring will incur a maximum cost of 420 million euros in provisions for 2026 but is expected to generate annual cost savings of around 185 million euros from 2028 onwards.
