Manning's Reed admission
Eli Manning said Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed was more dangerous than game footage suggested, explaining that Reed read quarterbacks’ eyes and anticipated plays. In a December 2004 game, Manning completed four of 18 passes for 27 yards and threw two interceptions in Baltimore’s 37-14 win; Reed intercepted one pass. Reed finished that season with nine interceptions and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
