US Army Starts Aircraft Withdrawals
Israeli media reports indicate that the U.S. military has begun withdrawing some refueling aircraft from Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv for security reasons and to ensure smooth air traffic flow during peak times. This move comes following pressure from the Israeli Transport Minister to remove the aircraft from the airport in order to maintain its efficiency during busy travel periods. In a related development, air traffic temporarily halted after a civilian drone entered the airport during peak hours, as security authorities are studying measures to tighten restrictions on drone operations.
