Haaland's Memory Questions City Transfer
Norwegian Erling Haaland, Manchester City striker, mocked a controversial incident involving himself during the 2026 World Cup. He took to social media to make a sarcastic comment about his new teammate, Eliot Anderson, who joined the club for £116 million, after previously criticizing the decision to disallow Norway’s goal against England in the match due to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology. These comments came after Haaland sent a greeting to Anderson, who responded with the word "Diver?", referring to the incident in which a penalty was awarded after Haaland pushed Anderson during the World Cup. The exchange turned into a humorous topic on social media, serving as the biggest proof of how the incident continues to linger in Haaland’s memory.
