The Public Security Directorate confirmed that its security and awareness efforts have contributed to reducing manifestations of violence and dangers during celebrations, such as gunfire and accompanying parades, which threatened community safety. It indicated that this decline reflects an increase in community awareness of the risks associated with these behaviors, although some incidents still occur, requiring continued campaigns and education. The Directorate emphasized that expressing joy is a human right, but practices that endanger lives and property—such as firing guns and unorganized parades—are illegal and harmful to public security. These will be dealt with firmly in accordance with legal provisions. It called on citizens to report violations via the 911 number to enhance community safety and individual security.
