France approves 97M dollars for national airline
The Council of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister Jafar Hissan, approved a French funding of $97 million for the National Water Carrier Project in Jordan, aimed at completing the financial procedures and the actual implementation of the project. The project involves desalinating 300 million cubic meters of seawater annually and supplying approximately 40% of the country's drinking water needs through a 450-kilometer pipeline that employs modern technologies based on renewable energy. This initiative enhances national water security and is considered the first of its kind in Jordan's history.
