Jordan to observe July full moon
On Wednesday evening, the skies over Jordan will witness the complete phenomenon of the "Beaver Moon", which reaches full moon phase at 5:34 PM Jordan time and remains visible throughout the night. The moon will rise in Amman at 7:43 PM and will stay visible until sunrise the following morning, typically positioned in the Capricorn constellation according to astronomical calculations. This full moon is known by various names in local cultures and offers a good opportunity for observation and photography using binoculars and cameras, although it does not possess unique astronomical characteristics. It is recommended in the following days to take photos during moonrise or moonset alongside natural or archaeological landmarks, preferably from open horizon sites for optimal viewing. Additionally, the moon will be at its maximum brightness, increasing the sky's luminance and requiring suitable conditions for better observation of faint celestial objects.
