Selection process for retirees' children
Beneficiaries of the children of retirees vacancies were selected based on transparent and public criteria that ensure fairness. The selection was evaluated according to a points system out of 100, which includes four main criteria: the year the guardian was conscripted, the year they were retired, the year they obtained their educational qualification, and the number of siblings who are not beneficiaries. The year of obtaining the educational qualification carries the highest weight (40 points), while retirement year (20 points) and conscription year (20 points) each account for a significant share, and the maximum points for non-beneficiary siblings is 20. The seats were distributed across governorates proportionally to the number of retired military personnel in each, with careful review to ensure the integrity and transparency of the process. This initiative is a recognition of the sacrifices of retired military personnel and aims to provide fair opportunities for their children.
