Hashemite Fund Prepares for 10th Jamid Festival
The Heshem Fund for the Development of the Jordanian Badia praised the organization of the "Jameed and Smen" Festival in its tenth edition, set to be inaugurated in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Ali at Al-Hussein Gardens in Amman. The festival aims to market Jordanian women's products of Jameed and Smen and will run for two days. It provides a platform to showcase products from charitable, cooperative, and women's associations in the northern, central, and southern Jordanian Badia regions. Additionally, the festival contributes to enhancing direct marketing by connecting producers with consumers through retail centers, restaurants, and hotels throughout the year. This boosts employment opportunities and income for Bedouin product producers and promotes sustainable development in the region.
