Teacher in Jordan loses speech and memory after hospital visit
The investigations have concluded that a Jordanian teacher lost her mobility, speech, and memory after being admitted to a private hospital in Amman, following a sudden deterioration in her health. It is believed that this was due to the use of antipsychotic medications administered to her in a manner inconsistent with medical protocols, which led to serious complications including pulmonary embolisms and septicemia. The Supreme Committee for Medical Errors is monitoring the case, and its final report is expected to be issued within two weeks. The deterioration of her condition is attributed to potential medical procedural errors and inadequate oversight of the hospital.
