Settlers intensify attacks in Ramallah
The settler attacks in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate have escalated, as settlers carried out land bulldozing and carved out a new settlement road near Palestinian homes in the town of Deir Ammar. They also attacked the outskirts of the al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya area, leading to clashes with Palestinian youth. The expansion activities primarily involved land clearing, with settlers present inside homes under construction and raising Israeli flags, in the context of increasing settlement activity that threatens to seize more land and displace residents. These activities include expanding settlement outposts and establishing new roads, raising concerns that such measures create de facto facts on the ground, paving the way for further expansions and assaults on Palestinian populations.
