The Jordanian Ministry of Labour has begun extending the working hours of several of its directorates in the capital and governorates until 5 p.m. from Sunday until September 30th, in order to facilitate procedures for regularizing the status of non-Jordanian workers. This decision, made under the leadership of Minister of Transport and Minister of Labour Nidal Qatamina, aims to accommodate the high number of visitors and enable employers and households to correct the status of their workers before the deadline ends. The affected directorates in the capital include areas in North, East, and South Amman, as well as the Domestic Workers Directorate in Al-Obaidi and the Amman Chamber of Commerce Labour Office. Additionally, directorates in the governorates of Kerak, Irbid, and Maan are also included.
