Zarqa Governor Ahmed Al-Zuhair on Sunday opened the 20th edition of the “Reading for All” festival, part of the Jordanian Family Library initiative, at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center. The festival aims to promote reading and make books more accessible to families. It features titles in literature, novels, history, science, theatre and children’s stories. Books are on sale at nominal prices: 35 qirsh for adult titles and 25 qirsh for books for children and young people. The publications are available at five locations across Zarqa Governorate, including the cultural center, the Hashemite University and Zarqa University, to encourage book ownership and the creation of home libraries.
