Israeli emergency drills
The Israeli military began an exercise on Sunday, conducted by the Home Front Command’s Search and Rescue Brigade in various parts of the country. It will continue throughout the week. The exercise aims to improve readiness for simultaneous wartime emergencies on several fronts by simulating search-and-rescue and relief operations, as well as coordination with emergency services. The military said the exercise had been included in its 2026 training plan in advance and was not linked to any specific security alert.
