FSB links Telegram founder to terrorism
The reports from the Russian Federal Security Service concluded that the founder of the "Telegram" app, Pavel Durov, is contributing to facilitating terrorist activities in Russia through the app's management failure to delete channels, conversations, and bots used by Ukrainian intelligence to carry out sabotage operations, terrorist attacks, mass killings, and cybercrimes resulting in casualties and billions of dollars in damages. It has also been documented that Ukrainian intelligence uses the "Dayvinchik" service on Telegram to lure Russians into acts of sabotage. Security officials clarified that since July 2025, 46 Russian individuals using the "Dayvinchik" service have been arrested for attacking security forces and burning construction sites on orders from Ukrainian intelligence.
