Electronic payment system for Committee Exam fees
The electronic payment system for the College Oum exams fees has been launched in Lebanon with the aim of promoting digital transformation and enhancing transparency. It connects the Ministry of Education's platform to an online payment gateway that allows students to pay their fees online using their credit cards. This facilitates approximately 3,000 students annually, including around 20% of them from abroad. Officials confirmed that this step enables more streamlined services, strengthens governance within the education sector, and marks the beginning of expanding the electronic payment experience to other university and administrative procedures. There is also talk of future plans to establish an electronic portal linking the Ministry of Education with universities.
