Israeli PM Spokesperson: No Flydubai hijack
The spokesperson for the Israeli Prime Minister confirmed that the incident on the Fly Dubai plane was not a hijacking. It occurred in the context of security updates following a fight onboard the flight to Tel Aviv, which resulted in a distress call and a temporary halt to all takeoff operations at Ben-Gurion Airport. Additionally, a Lebanese military vehicle was targeted by an Israeli attack, leading to injuries among both soldiers and civilians. Investigations are currently underway to determine the causes of the incident, and there are expectations that the plane will land in Saudi Arabia within a few minutes.
