Gaza Pays Tribute to 105 Martyrs at Al-Taj
Seventy-five martyrs died under the rubble of the "Taj" square in Gaza after 17 days of search and rescue operations, amidst obstacles imposed by the Israeli occupation that prevented the entry of heavy equipment necessary for removing the debris. The Civil Defense confirmed that the rescue efforts were arduous and required cooperation with the Egyptian committee. Meanwhile, Hamas called on the international community and justice institutions to hold Israeli officials accountable for crimes against civilians. Search operations continue despite shortages of equipment and resources, while the rubble in the sector is estimated at around 61 million tons, with thousands of bodies still trapped beneath the debris.
