Husband kills wife before daughter
The Egyptian police found the body of a woman in her forties wrapped in blankets inside an apartment in Qalyubia Governorate after residents reported an unusual odor. Investigations revealed that the husband, 40 years old, murdered his wife with an iron hammer during a quarrel between them, with their 6-year-old daughter present in the house. The husband attempted to conceal the body by using air fresheners and masking the smell, and he confessed to the crime after he was apprehended.
