Government retakes Houthis' positions in Aden
The Yemeni armed forces launched counterattacks in Taiz Governorate and regained control over important sites they had lost in recent days, including strategic mountains and villages. They also intercepted drones launched by the Houthi militias toward military positions, without incurring any losses. Additionally, the air force carried out 20 strikes against Houthi movements to weaken their military capabilities. They also converted 19 main roads into military operational zones to prevent the Houthis from using them for their movements and supply routes. These developments come amid a escalation of military clashes and the government forces' efforts to recapture territory in Taiz, accompanied by intense field operations and heavy airstrikes.
