South residents receive temporary traffic relief
The National Authority for the Litani River announced that the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has commenced work on establishing a temporary water crossing in the Tairfalsiyeh area to provide an alternative passage for the destroyed bridge caused by recent Israeli airstrikes. This operation aims to facilitate movement between Sidon – Zahrani areas and the Caza of Sour, especially for the transportation of agricultural products. It is a temporary solution until the permanent bridge can be rehabilitated. Coordination has been made with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with technical requirements and environmental protection measures, in order to preserve the Litani River course and related infrastructure.
