Israel's restrictions affect Lebanon military talks
Israel is witnessing an escalation of military activity in southern Lebanon, as it works on shifting experimental areas to villages that are not occupied but are under its fire control, such as Nabatiyeh Al Fawqa and areas in the Tyre District. Israel is imposing conditions on Lebanon, including full coordination with the Lebanese Army to confront Hezbollah and ceasing its demands for the withdrawal of Israeli forces. It requests that the army move in advance into Hezbollah positions and tunnels and prevent Hezbollah fighters from remaining or returning to the villages. Political negotiations remain stalled, while the military escalation relies on Israeli demands aimed at pressuring Lebanon and dismantling Hezbollah's infrastructure.
