Lebanese Forces Urge Action on Rescue Decisions
The initiative launched by the Strong Republic Bloc, led by Samir Geagea, centered on the urgent need to effectively implement the rescue decisions in Lebanon, rather than leaving them as mere words on paper, especially amid the severe economic and political crisis the country is experiencing. The statement emphasized the importance ofCleaning institutions and administrative offices from figures linked to outside entities and called for clear administrative steps that avoid using civil peace as an excuse. It also warned against engaging in futile conflicts within institutions, particularly regarding the electoral law, asserting that the priority should be confronting illegitimate regimes, foremost among them Hezbollah, and completing financial reforms in line with the country's interests. The statement pointed to the government's failure to fulfill its responsibilities, especially regarding the 2027 budget draft, and stressed the need for urgent measures to resolve the electricity crisis, criticizing the lack of government response and transparency in some financial decisions.
