Yemen Dawn Operation Progressing
The Yemeni government forces launched a military operation called "Fajr Yemen" to liberate the Waziyah District west of Taiz from Houthi control. They advanced from three axes, resulting in the death of about 100 Houthi militants and injuring 150 others. The forces also succeeded in taking control of Zubab Airport and completely cutting the Houthi supply line to the Zubab area. These operations follow their recent capture of Zubab and other strategic positions, as part of the Yemeni army's efforts to restore national institutions. The field progress continues, with significant military gains being achieved.
