Zelensky Urges More Air Defense After Attacks
Ukraine announced the deaths of 26 people, including five children, and the injury of around one hundred others as a result of Russian strikes targeting various parts of the country. This includes a widespread attack on the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv Province, during which a residential building was partly destroyed, leading to 19 fatalities. The attacks varied between ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, with Ukrainian defenses intercepting 44 missiles and 117 drones; however, they considered ballistic missiles to pose the greatest challenge. President Zelensky called on the international community to supply Ukraine with more air defense systems and missiles, as attacks on Kyiv increase with the approach of winter, heightening anxiety and fear among the population.
