Damage to U.S. Kuwait Base Revealed
The new footage reveals the extent of the destruction inflicted on the American "Camp Buering" base in Kuwait due to Iranian attacks in the early days of the war. The base was targeted by ballistic missiles and drones, including F-5 fighter jets. Although most of the American forces—around 7,000 soldiers—had already left before the fighting broke out, more than 100 soldiers remained and were subjected to repeated attacks, which led to the complete destruction of the base. They were subsequently forced to retreat to remote desert locations. The report indicated that the attacks caused equipment losses valued at $3.7 billion, including approximately 60 aircraft, while American forces suffered losses of more than 81 aircraft and helicopters since the onset of the clashes.
