The European Union has provided a donation to the Lebanese Army, which includes engineering vehicles, transport means, generators, and various equipment, aimed at enhancing its operational capabilities and meeting its logistical needs for carrying out different missions across Lebanon. The handover ceremony took place in Chtaura, attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, as well as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment. Acting Army Commander, Brigadier General Hassan Ouada, expressed appreciation for the EU's ongoing support to the army and handed over the donation to the EU representatives during the ceremony. This support aims to bolster the Lebanese Armed Forces' capabilities in facing challenges and to assist them in executing their missions effectively, especially under the current circumstances.
