Trump reconsiders Iran city threats
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his remarks about the possibility of "destroying" cities in Iran, which he was asked about in comments, were misunderstood. He clarified that he was actually referring to the fact that rising gas prices are the cost to be borne as a result of economic sacrifices during wartime. Trump emphasized that his mention of destroying Los Angeles or San Diego was figurative, and that he meant the increase in gas prices is temporary and a small price to pay compared to Iran not possessing nuclear weapons. He warned that an attack on those cities would be extremely costly.
