Pakistan deploys forces in Saudi Arabia
Pakistan confirmed that its forces stationed in Saudi Arabia, under a joint defense agreement with Turkey and Saudi Arabia, are solely focused on defensive tasks and will not attack the Houthis, despite the escalation of the conflict between them. Pakistani troops have been present since the 1980s. The Ministry emphasized that the size and deployment of the forces are determined by the trilateral alliance agreement, reaffirming Pakistan's commitment to defend Saudi Arabia amid the escalating conflict with the Iran-backed Houthis.
