US Central Command Strikes Oil Tanker in Gulf
The American forces led by CENTCOM targeted and disabled a commercial cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman on October 10th, after the crew attempted to breach the naval blockade imposed on Iran. An American fighter aircraft used precision-guided munitions to strike the "Ocean Mollyka," a Panama-flagged vessel, resulting in the disabling of its propulsion system without any injuries to the crew. Since July, the American blockade has been applied to ships passing through Iranian ports, leading to the disruption of four vessels and forcing 135 others to change their routes. Additionally, U.S. forces have destroyed ten tankers linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
