Armenian Catholic Patriarchate Marks Healing Week for Pope Leo XIV
The Armenian Catholic Patriarchate has declared a week of prayer for the healing of Pope Leo XIV, following the Holy Father's announcement of discovering a tumor in his lung and undergoing surgery. Patriarch Raphael Bedros Minaian called on all churches and believers to organize collective prayers and celebrate Mass from October 12 to 17, 2026, in hopes of interceding for the Pope's recovery, especially during the commemoration of the saintly Bishop Ignatius Maloyan. The call emphasized the importance of unity and prayer for the Pope’s health, praying that God grants him healing and strengthens him to continue his mission.
