Famous actress detained after airline altercation
American actress Salma Blair was arrested after injuring two flight attendants during a flight from Los Angeles to New York. She faced charges of assaulting a police officer and a nurse, as authorities accused her of misconduct resulting from a medical emergency caused by her multiple sclerosis. Her lawyer stated that her actions were not intentional and that she was suffering from severe confusion and an inability to determine directions after hitting her head during the flight, which led to her being taken to the hospital for medical assessment. The judge set her bail at $20,000, and the next court date is scheduled for January.
