Lebanese Party and Gulf Country Cooperation
The report mentioned that there is regular coordination between a major Lebanese party and a prominent Gulf country, aimed at supporting reconstruction efforts in areas affected by the war in Lebanon, such as the south, Beqaa, and southern Beirut. The Gulf state has expressed its readiness to fund the reconstruction and renovation project after the end of the 2024 war and has sent a team of engineers to develop implementation plans. However, the United States is obstructing the project, and the new Lebanese authorities are hindering its execution due to its connection to the issue of weapons held by armed groups in Lebanon.
